For Racing Louisville: Will they finally be stable enough to get on everyone’s radar?

Racing has been almost a write-off for the past two seasons. Which is interesting considering their talent. They manage to stay middle of the pack most of the time, finishing ninth in the league both seasons they’ve been involved. But during both of those seasons, there was a moment when it appeared that they might make the playoffs. It wasn’t a far-fetched dream, and they’ve put in a decent amount of offseason work to ensure their chances are better this year.

They traded Emily Fox to the North Carolina Courage, gaining Carson Pickett and Abby Erceg in exchange. They had four picks in the draft this year, with two of them in the second round. They were also involved in one of Gotham’s many offseason moves, acquiring Paige Monaghan who has spoken highly of the club and signed a three-year deal with them. Combining these new talents with those of Jaelin Howell, Savannah DeMelo, and Jess McDonald could lead Racing into a more successful season.
