Dark hose landing spots for Lamar Jackson: 2. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots finished last season with a very underwhelming 8-9 record and missed the postseason because of it. This is unacceptable for a team that has developed a winning culture, and they could be in for some major changes this offseason because of it.

Mac Jones has had trouble as their starting QB, so perhaps the Pats could be open to making a blockbuster move by bringing in Jackson.

When noting that the Patriots finished behind both the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins this past season, it is clear that New England could use a major shakeup.

By bringing in Jackson, they would have the potential to become a playoff team again. With that, Jackson would be a long-term answer for the QB position, which is something that Jones just may not be.
