Bulls vs. Lakers prediction and odds for Sunday, March 26
By Reed Wallach
The Lakers postseason push continues on Sunday at home against the Bulls.
Los Angeles has turned its season around in spite of not having LeBron James due to a foot injury. Anthony Davis is healthy and has found his elite form, averaging over 27 points and 12 rebounds on 57% shooting across 10 games in March as the Lakers look sure to be in the postseason.
However, could LeBron make his return to the lineup on Sunday? He has gone from out to doubtful to questionable in the span of 24 hours.
Can the Lakers continue its climb up the Western Conference standings with a home win against the Bulls?
Here are the odds for Sunday’s matchup:

Bulls vs. Lakers prediction and pick
Even if James is back in the lineup, likely on a minutes limit, Los Angeles should be in good shape.
The Lakers have won three straight games to get to the No. 8 seed in the West, and are in strong position to make it four straight against the Bulls.
While Chicago has been strong on defense over the last month, top 10 in defensive rating, it pales in comparison to the Lakers’ defense around Davis. Los Angeles is fourth in points allowed per 100 possessions in the month of March and the team is +9.4 when he is on the floor.
He is getting strong contributions from the likes of Austin Reeves (22 points per game over his last five) and D’Angelo Russell, who should be back in the lineup after missing Friday’s victory against the Suns.
Chicago has been playing better ball this month as they are on track to make the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament, but the team is still a step below this Lakers team at home. The Bulls are still middle of the road in March in effective field goal percentage and I believe the Lakers defense leads to a convincing victory.
