The Minnesota Timberwolves have had a tough year after trading every pick until 2078 for Rudy Gobert and then hovering around .500, but now they’ve won three straight and have had Karl Anthony-Towns back for the last two, so things are looking up, up north. Towns didn’t have a big game yesterday against Golden State, but he did hit the biggest shot and the breakout might be coming for Towns against Sacramento.

Though Sacramento is the best offensive team in the NBA, and they’re catching the Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back so the Kings could be tough to stop.

Let’s look at the prop market for Minnesota and Sacramento and see if we can find some value tonight.

Timberwolves vs. Kings best NBA prop bets

Domantas Sabonis under 32.5 pts+rebs (-122)
Kevin Huerter over 17.5 points (-113)
Keegan Murray over 13.5 points (+100)

Domantas Sabonis under 32.5 pts+rebs (-122)

With KAT on the floor next to Gobert and Naz Reid coming off the bench the Timberwolves just got supersized. It’s not like Towns or Reid are particularly good defenders, but they’re more big bodies to throw at discount Jokic. De’Aaron Fox could miss the game, so I think Sabonis will be effective as a passer, but points and rebounds especially could be hard to come by.

Kevin Huerter over 17.5 points (-113)

Last time these two teams played, Huerter was the star for the Kings. He had 29 points in that one and just last game for the Kings he had 27 against Utah. The Wolves just don’t have enough win defenders to allocate to Huerter and all of the Kings other shooters.

Keegan Murray over 13.5 points (+100)

Towns is a problem to defend, but he’s also a problem for his team when he has to defend. Gobert will likely take on the Sabonis matchup for the most part, so either Murray or Harrison Barnes will get to victimize Towns all night. The bad news is that the other might draw Jaden McDaniels which is very bad news for the over.
