WWE WrestleMania 39 takes place on Saturday, Apr. 1, and Sunday, Apr. 2, at SoFi Stadium. With 13 matches scheduled, we predict the winners of each bout.

The most anticipated event of the professional wrestling and sports entertainment calendar is arriving this weekend. On Saturday, Apr. 1 and Sunday, Apr. 2, WWE takes over Hollywood, as they host WrestleMania 39 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

There are questions that fans will be waiting for answers to. Will Cody Rhodes take the Undisputed WWE Universal championship away from Roman Reigns? Can Rhea Ripley get revenge for her WrestleMania loss by defeating Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s championship? Does The Uso’s record-breaking Undisputed Tag Team championship reign reach its end by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens?

Given the stakes of the show, we try our hand at predicting the winners of every match scheduled for WrestleMania 39.

WWE WrestleMania 39 Night 1 Predictions

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

At WrestleMania 36 in 2020, Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley to win the NXT Women’s championship. Three years later, Ripley won the women’s Royal Rumble and will now challenge Flair, this time for the SmackDown Women’s championship. Ripley should get her win back, defeating Flair for the title.

Predicted Winner: Rhea Ripley

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Uso’s (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c) vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

The Sami Zayn-Bloodline story has captivated the WWE audience for the past year. Now, Zayn is determined to bring down the Bloodline for good, and the way to do so is to take the Undisputed WWE Tag Team championships from The Uso’s. Expect the next stage of the Bloodline storyline to begin with Jimmy and Jey Uso losing their titles to Zayn and Owens at WrestleMania.

Predicted Winner: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) vs. John Cena

The opening match for WrestleMania 39 Night 1 will be Austin Theory defending his United States championship against John Cena. Theory called out Cena, who then completely eviscerated the champion, saying that fans don’t care about him. This match could go either way, but Theory should get a big win over a 16-time world champion.

Predicted Winner: Austin Theory

Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky)

Becky Lynch and Lita won the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships from Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, with some help from Trish Stratus, who fended off an interfering Bayley. Now, Lynch, Lita and Stratus will take on Damage CTRL at WrestleMania. While betting on the team of Lynch, Lita and Stratus is the safe bet, Damage CTRL really needs a big win on the grandest stage of them all.

Predicted Winner: Damage CTRL

Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul

Logan Paul got under the skin of Seth Rollins ever since eliminating him in the men’s Royal Rumble match back in January. Paul then costed Rollins a chance at regaining the United States title at the Elimination Chamber event in February. Rollins should get his revenge against Paul in what could be one of the best matches of WrestleMania 39.

Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins

Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio

This is a match that is up there with both Bloodline matches in terms of storytelling. Dominik Mysterio pestered his father, Rey Mysterio, for a match at WrestleMania. Rey would refuse countless times, saying he wouldn’t fight his own son. But Rey finally accepted after Dominik called his sister Aalyah, “stupid,” and told his mother Angie to “shut up.”

This feels like just the start of what could be a feud that continues throughout the 2023 calendar year. Rey gets the win at WrestleMania 39.

Predicted Winner: Rey Mysterio

Four Way Tag Team WrestleMania Showcase match: Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar)

There are two WrestleMania Showcase matches scheduled for this weekend. Saturday will feature the men’s match. On Raw this past week, Braun Strowman and Ricochet and The Street Profits defeated Alpha Academy and The Viking Raiders in an eight-man tag team match. Then on SmackDown, Ricochet beat Montez Ford, Chad Gable, and Erik in a fatal four-way match. Given this, one of the heel teams is probably winning at WrestleMania, and it should be the Viking Raiders.

Predicted Winners: The Viking Raiders

WWE WrestleMania 39 Night 2 Predictions

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes

Roman Reigns will have held onto the Universal Championship for 945 days and the WWE championship for 364 days entering Night 2 of WrestleMania. He faces Cody Rhodes, the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match, and is one of the more popular stars in the company since returning last year.

The question that has circulated throughout Reigns’ reign has been “who is the right person to defeat him for the titles.” As of this moment, there is no better option right now than Rhodes. WWE should take the opportunity to enter the next phase of the Bloodline story — without all of the championships.

Predicted Winner: Cody Rhodes

Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka

Bianca Belair won the Raw Women’s championship at WrestleMania last year by defeating Becky Lynch, and has yet to relinquish it. Her latest challenger is Asuka, who has shown off her Kana persona since the Royal Rumble in January. This match could very well steal the show, and Belair continues her reign as Raw Women’s champion.

Predicted Winner: Bianca Belair

Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus

Match of WrestleMania 39? This could very well be the match of the year. Gunther has been Intercontinental champion since June 10, 2022, and has had fantastic title defenses. One of them happened to be at Clash at the Castle last September against one of his challengers at WrestleMania — Sheamus. “The Celtic Warrior” has won nearly every title, except the Intercontinental title. But, Drew McIntyre is part of the match as well, looking to win the championship he first gained at the start of his WWE career.

Gunther has the chance to surpass the Honkey Tonk Man’s record title reign of 454 days. But, Sheamus finally wins the title that he eluded him throughout his career.

Predicted Winner: Sheamus

Hell in a Cell match: Edge vs. “The Demon” Finn Balor

Edge and Finn Balor have been feuding with one another since last summer. Edge had created the Judgment Day stable, but Balor usurped him as leader. Edge got the best of Balor at Clash at the Castle last September and Elimination Chamber this past February. But, Balor defeated Edge in an I Quit match at Extreme Rules last October. Now, the two are set to settle the score at WrestleMania in a Hell in a Cell match, with Balor is bringing his “Demon” persona at WrestleMania to take on Edge. Balor should get the win at WrestleMania.

Predicted Winner: “The Demon” Finn Balor

Brock Lesnar vs. Omos

Brock Lesnar received a WrestleMania challenge from the 7-foot-3, 403-pound Omos. It is going to be quite the visual to see Lesnar hoist Omos on his shoulders to give him an F-5. Lesnar wins in a match that will go viral on social media.

Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

Fatal Four Way Tag Team WrestleMania Showcase match: Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler vs. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya and Shotzi vs. Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green

The second WrestleMania Showcase match will take place on Sunday, this time featuring four teams in the women’s division. Raquel Rodriguez defeated Shayna Baszler, Natalya, and Sonya Deville on the March 31 episode of SmackDown. When it comes to who will be victorious at WrestleMania, it’s hard to pick against Ronda Rousey and Baszler.

Predicted Winner: Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler
