There is only one college basketball left to bet on for the next six months; the NCAA National Championship.

The San Diego State Aztecs will meet the UConn Huskies in the March Madness finale tonight, so we have to take full advantage of this final opportunity.

If you want to check our Reed Wallach’s betting preview for the game, you can find it here.

In this article, I’m talking player props. i have two locked in for tonight’s big game. Let’s jump into them.

SDSU vs. UConn player props

  • Adama Sanogo OVER 15.5 points (-125)
  • Nathan Mensah UNDER 5.5 rebounds (-115)

Adama Sanogo OVER 15.5 points (-125)

Adama Sanogo has been on fire this NCAA Tournament, averaging 20.2 points per game which is well above his set total for points tonight.

But, the main reason I love the OVER for his point total is his ability to attack San Diego State’s interior defense. The Aztecs have one of the best perimeter defenses in the country, but they are susceptible in the interior, especially in the midrange. They rank 147th in the country in opponent two point field goal percentage.

It’s also worth noting that Sanogo hasn’t recorded more than two fouls in a game so far this tournament, which is key for him to stay on the floor.

I think he goes over his point total tonight.

Nathan Mensah UNDER 5.5 rebounds (-115)

San Diego State has dominated the boards in every game this tournament, but now it has to face its toughest challenge in this area to date. UConn ranks second in the country in rebounding percentage, grabbing 56.7% of available boards.

Mensah has surpassed this total in four straight games, but I think UConn is too good in this area for him to go over it once again.

I’ll back the UNDER on his rebound total in tonight’s National Championship.
