When is One Shining Moment being shown?
This year’s hotly awaited “One Shining Moment” montage will be shown as March Madness wraps up with the national championship game between UConn and SDSU.
It wouldn’t be March without some madness. And it wouldn’t be March Madness without “One Shining Moment.”
Since 1987, the classic song and montage of the most memorable plays has closed out coverage of the NCAA Tournament.
This year, the “One Shining Moment” montage will follow the conclusion of the national championship game between No. 4 seed UConn and No. 5 seed San Diego State.
When is One Shining Moment being shown?
The game between the Huskies and Aztecs is slated to begin at 9:20 p.m. ET. Since the average college basketball game lasts just over two hours, fans can expect the montage to drop sometime close to midnight ET.
Of course, it all depends on how the game flows. It could be before that or well after if the two teams head to overtime or there is some other delay.
Last year’s One Shining Moment montage
Last year’s montage celebrated Kansas’ victory over North Carolina for the national title, along with memorable moments like the cheerleader rescuing a stuck ball and St. Peter’s Cinderella run.
It was a fun tournament and this year’s tournament has been equally, if not more, thrilling. There have been late winners, huge comebacks, epic shots and Cinderella stories. There’s no doubt the newest edition of “One Shining Moment” will be worth the wait.
But first, the 2023 NCAA champion has to be crowned.
