Titans Draft Picks 2023: Every selection Tennessee has in April
From consecutive AFC South titles to a total collapse. The Tennessee Titans fell apart after a solid start in 2022. Can the team bounce back this season?
The Tennessee Titans were one of four NFL teams this past season to close out 2022 with at least seven consecutive losses. They joined the Bears (10), Cardinals (7) and the division-rival Colts (7) for this disappointing distinction.
Unlike the other three clubs, Mike Vrabel’s club was coming off three consecutive playoff appearances, including back-to-back division titles the previous two years. Tennessee owned a 7-3 record after 10 games and finished 7-10.
The team jettisoned numerous veterans this offseason. There’s a new general manager in Ran Carthon. He takes over for Jon Robinson, who was fired shortly after former Titans’ wide receiver A.J. Brown embarrassed Vrabel’s club in Week 13 at Philadelphia.
Titans draft picks 2023
Carthon has plenty of work to do in rebuilding the talent level with this club. However, the Titans only have a half-dozen picks in the 2023 NFL Draft.
- Round 1: 11th overall
- Round 2: 41st overall
- Round 3: 72nd overall
- Round 4: None
- Round 5: 147th overall
- Round 6: 186th overall
- Round 7: 228th overall
Tennessee does not have a fourth-round pick as part of the trade that enabled the Titans to obtain wide receiver Julio Jones from the Atlanta Falcons in 2021. The sixth-round pick (No. 186) was originally the Falcons and is also part of the Jones trade two years ago. The Titans’ original selection in the sixth round went to the Rams for wide receiver Robert Woods, now a member of the Houston Texans.

- Wide receiver
- Tackle
- Guard
- Center
The list is hardly a surprise considering Tennessee released tackle Taylor Lewan, center Ben Jones and guard Nate Davis this offseason. The club added free agents such as tackles Andre Dillard (Eagles) and Daniel Brunskill (49ers). The Titans are in dire need of more playmakers at wide receiver and tight end. Only four teams in the league scored fewer points than Vrabel’s team this past season.
