By Scott Rogust
Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis left Game 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a concerning injury, and the fanbase freaked out a bit too early.
The Los Angeles Lakers made their return to the playoffs by way of defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in tournament for the seventh seed in the Western Conference. This was also their return to the postseason after missing out on qualification last year. But, they did have to face a tough foe in the Memphis Grizzlies, the second seed.
In the first half, forward Anthony Davis had a solid showing. But in the second quarter, Davis collided with Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. during a rebound attempt. Davis grabbed his right arm, and the ESPN cameras caught him saying “I can’t move my arm.”
Davis went to the locker room to get checked out just prior to halftime.

However, just before the start of the third quarter, various reporters informed the NBA world that Davis was available to return for the second half.
