1. Corey Dickerson is now struggling with the Nationals

Dickerson played with the Cardinals in 2022, signing as a left-handed option for the team’s designated hitter. Dickerson ended up helping the Cardinals in more ways as he played multiple outfield positions in addition to DH.

This season, Mozeliak hoped to have a young, healthy outfield with Tyler O’Neill, Dylan Carlson, Lars Nootbaar, Alec Burleson, and the organization’s top prospect, Jordan Walker.

Dickerson moved on as he signed a one-year deal worth $2.25 million with the Nationals.

He only played in two games this season but has landed on the 10-day injured list with a left calf strain. He’s been on the injured list since April 2 and still hasn’t been cleared to run. Hopefully, he’s cleared to resume running soon and can work his way back to the diamond. He’s a good veteran to have in the clubhouse.
