Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James let it be known that he is focused on Game 3 against the Memphis Grizzlies, not Dillon Brooks’ comments.

While the Memphis Grizzlies did tie their first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers, all of the attention was given to Dillon Brooks, who had some things to say about LeBron James.

After the game, Brooks called James “old,” said that he “pokes bears,” and that he “doesn’t respect anyone until he gives me 40 [points].”

With that, Game 3 between the Lakers and Grizzlies got more interesting. Not only are both teams looking to take a 2-1 series lead, but now fans want to see if James will get revenge on Brooks for his comments.

During practice on Friday, James spoke to the media and had no response to Brook’s comments To end his presser, James said that he’s “not here for the bulls***, I’m ready to play and that’s it.”

James is not letting Brooks’ comments get him off track for his goal on Saturday night, and that’s get the win.

Besides Brooks’ comments, the two players did exchange words throughout the game. In one instance, Brooks and James exchanged words as they moved downcourt. Then after hitting a three-pointer over James, Brooks got in his face and stared him down.

In Game 2, James scored 28 points while shooting 12-of-23 from the field, in addition to hauling in 12 rebounds and dished out three assists in 39 minutes played. As for Brooks, he recorded 12 points (5-of-14 on field goal attempts), three assists and one rebound.

Tipoff for Game 3 will be at 10:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Apr. 22, and will be televised on ESPN. Fans will be watching to see if Brooks can back up his trash talk, or if James will have a huge game to lead the Lakers to a victory.
