Brutal news out of Sacramento ahead of Game 5 on Wednesday.
Sacramento Kings’ star guard De’Aaron Fox suffered a fractured finger on Sunday in the team’s Game 4 loss to the Golden State Warriors. Fox, who is leading the Kings in scoring and assists this series, is currently listed as doubtful for Game 5, but will work to play despite needing to wear a protective cast.
Kings guard De'Aaron Fox fractured the very tip of his left index finger in Game 4, but there's still hope he will try and play Game 5 on Tuesday, sources tell ESPN. Fox would need to play with a protective covering on the finger. He will be listed as doubtful.

The Kings, who were 1.5-point home favorites in the pivotal Game 5, are now 3.5-point underdogs on Wednesday night on the anticipation that Fox will be at the least limited, if not out all together. Predictably, the total has dropped several points with the Kings’ offensive engine out of the game.
On the Warriors-Kings Game 5 total:@SuperBookSports drops from 237.5 to 233.5, then to 233.@CircaSports from 237 to 234.5, then 233.5, then 233.

Kings vs. Warriors odds, spread and total
Warriors overwhelming favorites to advance to second round
Golden State was a heavy favorite to win this series before it started despite not having home court advantage, but lost the first two on the road.
After taking two straight at home and evening the series at two games a piece, the defending champions were favored once again, but now it’s blown out to the Warriors to be favored by nearly as much as it was before the series started despite it being a best two out of three and the team must win on the road, something the team were struggled at during the regular season. The team went 11-30 on the road in the regular season.
However, with Fox’s play at the very least dipping most likely, oddsmakers are bullish on the Warriors chances to advance.
