Warriors vs. Kings prediction and odds for Game 5 (Warriors win with Fox doubtful)
By Peter Dewey
The Golden State Warriors took care of business at home to even their first-round series with the Sacramento Kings, and they caught a major break with De’Aaron Fox’s finger injury.
Fox is listed as doubtful, which is a huge concern for the Kings who need his offense to compete with this Golden State team.
While the Kings won both games at home, the Warriors had a chance to win Game 1 (Andrew Wiggins missed a corner 3 for the lead), and they barely lost Game 2 despite Draymond Green being ejected in the fourth quarter.
The Kings have been a solid team at home all season, but do they cover as underdogs without Fox?
Here’s a look at the odds and my best bet for this matchup:

Warriors vs. Kings prediction and pick
Earlier in this series, I kept bringing up the Warriors’ NBA record in playoff series because they have won a road game in 27 straight playoff matchups.
Game 5 seems like the perfect spot for Golden State to keep that trend going.
Not only has Fox been the Kings’ closer all season, but he’s been by far the team’s best offensive player in this series. There’s going to be a lot of added pressure on Domantas Sabonis, Malik Monk, Kevin Huerter and others to deliver in this game.
Golden State made things interesting in Game 4, but the team’s offense seems to have made a leap since Steve Kerr moved Jordan Poole into the starting lineup.
I like the Warriors to win this game to set up a close out game at Chase Center in Game 6.
