Best NBA prop bets today for Heat vs. Bucks Game 5 (Keep trusting Jimmy Butler)
By Peter Dewey
The Miami Heat have pushed the No. 1-seeded Milwaukee Bucks to the brink in the first round, leading 3-1 heading into Game 5.
Jimmy Butler has been dominant in this series, scoring 56 points in Game 4 to lead Miami to a comeback win.
I have a prop bet for Butler and Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, as we’re keeping things simple in Game 5:
Heat vs. Bucks best NBA prop bets
- Jimmy Butler OVER 29.5 Points
- Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 29.5 Points
Jimmy Butler OVER 29.5 Points
Jimmy Butler is averaging 36.5 points per game while shooting 62.8 percent from the field, which is absolutely insane given his usage.
The Heat have allowed Butler to carry them, and I expect him to keep doing that with Tyler Herro out of the lineup.
Milwaukee has had no answer for Butler, allowing him to score 30+ points in three of the four games of this series. I’m rolling with Jimmy again in Game 5.
Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 29.5 Points
Giannis took too much of a back seat in Game 4, allowing Brook Lopez, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton to run too much of the offense while he picked up a triple-double.
I expect Antetokounmpo to do whatever it takes to extend this series, and he still has a relatively low points prop considering the fact that he’s averaging 31.1 points per game on the season.
After scoring 26 points on 22 shots in Game 4, I’d be surprised if Giannis struggles again to score in Game 5.
