Though ESPN always broadcasts the NFL Draft and has the likes of Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay on their team, most football fans know that the better coverage of the draft is always found on NFL Network.

It has definitely been a rotating cast on the league’s flagship network and we no longer have the always-entertaining Mike Mayock in the building. But the coverage is just plain superior. Having said that, some fans may not be tuning into the network all that often.

What channel is NFL Network on DirecTV, DISH and Xfinity?

• NFL Network channel on Dish Network – 154
• NFL Network channel on Xfinity – Usually 180 (check local listings here)

Draft fans and football fans can find NFL Network on at Channel 212 on DirecTV and Channel 154 on DISH. In most markets, the channel will be 180 for Xfinity. However, there are some markets that have differing channels, so to be sure, you should check the local listings finder to make sure you don’t end up on Teen Nick or something that is not the draft.

How to watch 2023 NFL Draft on NFL Network: Schedule of events

The NFL Draft, of course, is a full three-day event. Here’s a look at the full schedule that will all be broadcast live and streaming on NFL Network throughout the weekend.

• Thursday, April 27: Round 1, 8 p.m. ET
• Friday, April 28: Rounds 2-3, 7 p.m. ET
• Saturday, April 29: Rounds 4-7, Noon ET

The draft will be in primetime on Thursday and Friday for the first three rounds. On Saturday, the remaining four rounds of the draft will take place and very much in a rapid-fire fashion throughout the afternoon until all 259 selections are completed.
