NFL Power Rankings 2023, Post-NFL Draft: No. 21-19

Denver Broncos. 21. team. 45. . .

It is somewhat hard to believe that a team that won the Super Bowl in 2015 has not been back to the postseason since that title run and has finished below. 500 each of the last six years.

Sean Payton is the team’s newest head coach and hopes to end the team’s playoff drought. He should be a big help to quarterback Russell Wilson, who was a big-time disappointment during his debut season in Denver.

44. . . . Atlanta Falcons. 20. team

The Falcons have finished below .500 for five consecutive years. The team won just seven games this past season but improved on their 2021 performance despite finishing with the same record.

Arthur Smith’s club did a good job adding some veteran talent, signing defensive lineman Calais Campbell and trading for tight end Jonnu Smith. Atlanta used its first-round pick on talented running back Bijan Robinson (Texas).

Green Bay Packers. 19. team. 49. . .

The franchise finally dealt quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the Jets, and it will be interesting to see how the picks they got this year and next pan out.

As usual, the Packers were quiet when it came to free agency, but they wound up drafting 13 players. That included first-round linebacker Lukas Van Ness (Iowa), as well as three wide receivers and a pair of tight ends. Auburn kicker Anders Carlson was a sixth-round pick.
