All hail Warriors star Steph Curry, the greatest shooter this world has ever seen. NBA Twitter was brought to its knees after Curry’s magisterial Game 7 performance.
On Sunday, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings to advance to the second round of the playoffs, and the star of the show was none other than Steph Curry.
Forget about Curry’s season stats. Forget about his points and assists and rebounds per game. For one glorious afternoon, the league saw Curry — the magician, the chef, the baby-faced assassin — erupt against the Kings and deliver a truly legendary performance.
Curry makes the shots that no one else can make. The shots that can quiet the thousands of Sacramento supporters at Golden 1 Center. The shots that make the common fans and the biggest sports legends alike throw their hands up in the air and say, “Oh my god.”
And on Sunday afternoon, Curry made everybody say, “Oh my god.” He put up 50 points in the Warriors’ 120-100 win over the Kings, and Twitter naturally went crazy.
Steph Curry become immortalized in Game 7 vs. Kings, NBA Twitter bows down to him
First, Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes paid his respects to the Warriors legend-in-the-making.
The rest of Twitter, particularly the NBA pundits, also couldn’t believe what they just witnessed.
Even Toni Kroos, an international soccer star, noticed Curry’s performance from across the world. Curry’s greatness just transcends all sports.
In the modern age when pundits and analysts rarely agree on anything, the entire NBA community united to stare up in awe at the generational player who has forever revolutionized the sport.
Steph Curry. That’s it. That’s the article.
