WWE Backlash 2023 live results and highlights

WWE Backlash 2023 takes place on Saturday, May 6, live from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Here are the live results and highlights from the premium live event.

We are over a month away from WrestleMania 39, which is one that will be remembered for quite some time. With that, the wait for WrestleMania 40 next year begins. Even though there is quite a wait, there is still going to be premium live events for fans to take in during this build to next year’s “Showcase of the Immortals.”

On Saturday, May 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET, WWE hosts Backlash in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The event will be hosted by rapper Bad Bunny, who will also be having a match himself. Specifically, Bad Bunny will be facing former tag team partner-turned-enemy Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.

There is another huge bout set for the seven-match card. Following his WrestleMania 39 loss, Cody Rhodes is now looking for revenge against Brock Lesnar, who attacked him on the Raw after the biggest show of the year.

There are five other matches set for Backlash, including Bianca Belair defending the Raw Women’s championship against Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley looking to retain the SmackDown Women’s title against Zelina Vega, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle facing The Bloodline, Seth Rollins taking on Omos, and Austin Theory defending the United States championship against Bobby Lashley and Broson Reed in a triple threat match.
