WWE Backlash 2023 start time, match card, live stream and how to watch

WWE Backlash 2023 takes place on Saturday, May 6 live from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Here’s how fans can view the premium live event.
The last time WWE presented a premium live event was WrestleMania 39, which saw Roman Reigns successfully defending his Undisputed WWE Universal championship against Cody Rhodes. In recent years, the next premium live event on the calendar is Backlash. That remains the case.
On Saturday, May 6, WWE presents Backlash, airing live from San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is the first time that a premium live event will be taking place from Puerto Rico since New Year’s Revolution back in 2005.
There are two headlining matches on the show. The first is Rhodes looking to get revenge on Brock Lesnar after getting attacked by “The Beast Incarnate” on the Raw after WrestleMania. Then, there’s rapper Bad Bunny set to take on former tag team partner Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.
Three championship matches will be on the line as well, including Bianca Belair defending the Raw Women’s title against Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley looking to retain the SmackDown women’s title against Zelina Vega, and Austin Theory aiming to extend his United States championship reign against Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed.

The main card for Backlash will officially begin at 8:00 p.m. ET. There will be a kickoff show beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET to get you caught up on storylines before the start of the event.
