AT&T Byron Nelson purse 2023: Payout by player, finishing position
Taking a look at the AT&T Byron Nelson payout distribution and purse for the 2023 tournament at TPC Craig Rance on the PGA Tour.
The AT&T Byron Nelson isn’t a designated event on the PGA Tour and, with Jordan Spieth being forced to withdraw due to injury the week of the tournament, the field left a lot to be desired. But golf fans were still treated to a great weekend of golf at TPC Craig Ranch.
On Thursday, we saw veteran Seung-Yul Noh get white-hot with the putter and flirt with a 59, ultimately taking the lead after the first round after shooting an 11-under 60 to set the tone. However, it was Scottie Scheffler, the heavy favorite entering the AT&T Byron Nelson, who came out firing in the second round, surging to the lead, but being chased closely by the likes of Ryan Palmer, Mackenzie Hughes, Si Woo Kim and more.
That set up a fantastic weekend with players chasing one of the best in the world, with every golfer vying for their share of the $9.9 million purse. But how does the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson payout break down? Let’s take a look at the distribution for this week at TPC Craig Ranch.

Even though there was a lack of star power this week in McKinney, it’s been a great tournament. Not only did the cream rise to the top with Scheffler after the second round, but we also saw some veterans make a run at a big payday and to go up the FedExCup standings. That’s what these non-designated events are about and when they are at their best.
