1. Arike Ogunbowale, G, Dallas Wings

It is time for Arike Ogunbowale to prove that she is a winning player. The Wings gave her a supermax, and have revamped the roster around her with players that fit her ball-dominant playstyle.

That’s all well and good, but if the team is to truly compete, Ogunbowale will have to be less ball-dominant and learn to coexist better with those around her.

Even after bringing in veterans Natasha Howard and Diamond DeShields, the Wings are an incredibly young team, and will be molded by their star’s leadership and habits, which have been questionable at best during her career.

Ogunbowale needs to develop as a leader if this team is to truly compete for anything. No more kicked video boards, no more thrown water bottles, none of that. The franchise is treating her like a superstar, and it is time for her to behave like one, on and off the court.
