Sixers trade No. 3: PJ Tucker for Richaun Holmes

If the Sixers rebuild, P.J. Tucker would become an awkward fit. The 38-year-old veteran can still contribute to a contending team. He started 75 games during the 2022-23 season.

The Sacramento Kings are looking to build on their 48-win campaign. Tucker is an NBA champion and reliable veteran who would seamlessly fit into their rotation.

Richaun Holmes does not have a clear role on the Kings, logging only 11 total minutes in the postseason. However, he is capable of being a productive player somewhere else. In 2020-21, he averaged 14.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks across 61 games.

This trade would give the Sixers a younger player, who could give them much-needed minutes at center, alongside two future second-round picks.

Both players have two years left on their current contracts.
