Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Finals starts on Thursday, June 1. Here is how fans can win a free burrito from Chipotle throughout the series.
The 2023 NBA Finals have finally arrived, and just two teams remain. The Miami Heat made it out of the Eastern Conference after clinching the No. 8 seed in the play-in tournament and getting past the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics. Representing the Western Conference are the Denver Nuggets, who sent the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Lakers home to make it to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.
On Thursday, June 1, Game 1 will take place, with a tipoff time scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET. While there’s something at stake for both the Heat and Nuggets in Game 1, there’s also something in it for casual fans. Specifically, fans can win a free burrito from Chipotle!
Here’s how fans can get a free burrito from Chipotle.
How fans can win a free burrito from Chipotle throughout NBA Finals
Chipotle is giving away 300 burritos per three-pointer made in each NBA Finals game played. However, the deal maxes out at the first 35 three-pointers. So, how do fans get it?
Once a three-pointer is made by either team, Chipotle’s official Twitter account (@chipotletweets) will send out a “unique keyword.” Fans who spot this, they can text 888222 with the keyword. If they are one of the first 300 fans to send in the keyword, Chipotle will send a reply text with an Entree Code that can be redeemed on the Chipotle app or on their website.
If you are one of the lucky individuals to land an entree code, you will have to use it relatively quickly, as they expire on June 30, 2023.
The terms and conditions can be viewed at this link.
There you have it. Be sure to have your notifications for Chipotle’s Twitter account turned on to ensure you have a good shot at texting the unique keyword in time to acquire the entree code for a free burrito.
