White Sox vs. Mariners prediction and odds for Sunday, June 18
By Josh Yourish
Yesterday, the Chicago White Sox got two big hits from Zach Remillard in his big league debut. First he drove in the tying run in the ninth and then the winning run in the 11th for the 4-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners. The White Sox are 31-41 after splitting the first two of this series and the Mariners are 34-35 heading into the rubber match today.
For the series finale the White Sox will send Lance Lynn to the mound with his 6.75 ERA which has to weigh very heavily at this point in the season. Lynn is 4-7 and will be opposed by rookie Bryce Miller who is 4-3 with a 4.06 ERA.
Here are the odds for Chicago and Seattle today.

White Sox vs. Mariners prediction and pick
It’s very impressive that the 10-games under .500 White Sox somehow have the best ERA in the MLB this month, 2.69, 14 games into June. What’s even more impressive is that it could be a lot lower if Lance Lynn wasn’t in their starting rotation. Lynn has given up nine of their 38 earned runs this month in just 10.0 of their 127.0 innings. That means he accounts for 24% of their earned runs in June, but only 8% of their innings.
The White Sox are 5-9 this year when Lynn takes the mound, and for Chicago to get the win today he will need to be buoyed by the bullpen. However, for the season, the White Sox bullpen is 26th in ERA at 4.63.
Bryce Miller had a much needed bounce back last time out. After giving up 15 runs across his two prior starts he allowed just one run in six innings. He will shut down the Chicago offense again today because they are 29th in OPS in June. I’ll take Seattle to win big in the series finale at home.
