Kyle Harrison, LHP and Giants’ top prospect

The lefty arm is the Giants’ top prospect pitching in AAA Sacramento. He’s currently 1-3 over 16 games, starting with an ERA of 4.73. He has struck out 89 batters over 53.1 innings.

Like many pitchers in the majors, Kyle Harrison is struggling mightily. Maybe he could use a change of scenery? Oracle Park in San Francisco and playing more games on the west coast could be an exciting change for Goldschmidt.

Harrison is the profile of a player the Cardinals should seek out if they trade for Goldschmidt. It’s not a likely deal, but getting a top-tier starting pitcher is what the Cardinals need, whether for Goldschmidt or another bat.
