Cardinals must avoid Jacob Misiorowski, RHP and Top-5 prospect for the Brewers

After the Cardinals placed Adam Wainwright on the injured list with shoulder inflammation, the team must get pitching as soon as possible. But sending the reigning NL MVP to one of the teams at the top of the NL Central is just a bad idea.

Jacob Misiorowski is a native of Blue Springs, Mo., and was drafted in the second round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Brewers out of Crowder College in Neosho, Mo.  This would be his homecoming and provide pitching depth in the minor leagues. He is currently building his skills in the Advanced A league.

While it would be wonderful to have some Missouri-born talent in the system, it would mean the Cardinals traded Goldschmidt to the Brewers, and that’s just unacceptable.
