Kyle Kuzma is continuing to set trends, inking his calf with his favorite character from the Chappelle Show.

Kyle Kuzma is arguably as known for his fashion choices as for his basketball accomplishments. There’s the colorfully striped, possibly hand-knitted ski mask. The supervillain, black-leather jumpsuit. And, of course, the infamous giant pink sweater.

But none of those aesthetic choices top his latest tattoo — a calf portrait of Tyrone Biggums, the infamous, white-lipped crack addict Dave Chapelle often played on his sketch comedy show. Kuzma recently shared photos on his Instagram of both the tattoo and him getting a chance to show it off to Chappelle.

Chappelle played Biggums in multiple sketches over the brief, wildly successful run of his show but the most infamous was in a mock appearance on Fear Factor with a guest appearance by actual host Joe Rogan. Since time is a flat circle and everything is a simulation, I’d be remiss in not pointing out that in 2019 Kuzma took to Twitter to subtly but publicly jockey for an appearance on Rogan’s podcast. That appearance never happened but maybe this stunning piece of body art is enough to seal the deal.

Two more months until the NBA preseason starts. Hang in there folks.
