27. Bucky Irvin, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Current Ranking: 33

We’ve already mentioned the issues with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but we’ll start over just to be consistent. The Bucs are in deep water after losing both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans in the same game. The offense has been buzzing for most of the season with Baker Mayfield under center, but now they are in serious flux.

So, why would one invest in the Buccaneers at a time like this? For one, they are very much in the race for the NFC South. They will do what they have to do with Baker Mayfield to make this offense work. If Trey Palmer and Jalen McMillan can’t make the best of their new opportunity, then the running game will.

Bucky Irving looks like this season’s next great running back. The rookie has been a part of this three-headed monster than includes Sean Tucker and Rachad White. White was the presumptive starter in Tampa, but Irving is making a case he should get more touches.

The last normal game the Buccaneers played was two weeks ago against the Falcons. There, Irving had 11 touches to White’s 13. White had three catches for -6 yards, so he wasn’t exactly effective in the air. Irving isn’t a starter for your team today, but he could be in a few weeks, and that good to have on the bench in the meantime.
