I was born in Fairfax, VA and moved around the country quite a bit growing up. After 9 years in Northern Virginia, we moved to Vancouver, WA (suburb of Portland) for a couple years, then 4 years in Charlotte before moving to Tampa after my freshman year of high school.I played ball (of the basket variety) at Tampa Catholic and did just well enough to play in a couple local all-star games my senior year. ESPN declined to televise the events.I went to college at Florida State, majored in Business, won an intramural basketball championship, then returned to Tampa following graduation. I moved back to Northern Virginia (my original hometown) two years later in 2008 and have lived here ever since.I've mostly worked in the tech industry (sales/account management), but have also done some writing and built a sports content and information hub.
