We knew the AFC North was going to be at least a two-team race, but a third team is crashing the party.

The Cincinnati Bengals are 2-1 after sending the Pittsburgh Steelers to 1-2, and are now tied with the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens at the top of the division. The Bengals still aren’t the favorites to win the division, but at 2-1, they are in as good of a position as anyone in the AFC North.

WynnBET is still putting its faith in either the Ravens or Browns to walk away with the division crown. Both teams are +110 to win the division, while the Bengals are +1000 and the Steelers are +1200.

Baltimore needed a record-setting 66-yard field goal to beat the Detroit Lions, while the Browns didn’t fully separate from the Chicago Bears until the fourth quarter. The Ravens are fighting through a myriad of injuries and the Browns haven’t played a complete game yet this season. Both challenges are real issues, but right now, their problems leave the division for anyone’s taking.

The Browns are fighting through their own injury concerns right now. Although they just got Odell Beckham Jr. back, Jarvis Landry is going to be out for at least three games with a knee injury. Cleveland should be fine without Landry due to the strength of the run game, but it’s never a good thing to have a top playmaker out while you are building towards a Super Bowl run.

While both teams are trying to find their groove, they need to keep their eye on the Bengals. Cincinnati has a lot of winnable games and could sneak up on either team as a real contender.
