2. Jonas Wind, Wolfsburg

For an even more underrated signing, Arsenal could look to the Bundesliga for one of the most exciting players of the 2023-24 season thus far.

Jonas Wind showed his potential in the 2022-23 season, but he's truly smashed open the gates in the current campaign with seven goals in seven games. The Danish international is devastating on the counter and smoothly works with his young, exciting attacking teammates at Wolfsburg to create a bevy of chances, even while working under a notorious disciplinarian in Niko Kovać.

At 24, Wind is also young with the potential to keep improving. Arsenal should have questions about whether or not he can be enough of an asset to start every game for Arsenal or be superior to Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, especially since it is easier to score goals in the Bundesliga.

However, Wind has been more effective in front of goal than both players so far this season, and he could be a more budget-friendly option than the others. It's hard to predict who will and won't be available in the winter transfer market, so Wind is a wild card worth keeping in mind.
