NBA Trade Rumors — Minnesota Timberwolves own the ninth pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, but according to rumors, the team’s new GM, Flip Saunders, is considering to trade up a couple of spots.

As the Brandon Roy project failed miserably, the Timberwolves are in desperate need of a solid two-guard, and according to Darren Wolfson of ESPN 1500, Minnesota are interested in Victor Oladipo.

"According to sources, the Wolves have spoken to Oladipo’s camp. No workout has been set up, because Oladipo’s representatives need sufficient evidence that the Wolves can move up to Orlando’s spot at No. 2, Washington’s spot at No. 3 or Charlotte’s spot at No. 4."

The Wolves clearly see the potential in the athletic and versatile Oladipo. If Minnesota do decide to trade up, it probably wouldn’t be too much of a problem. Other than offering their pick in return in a potential trade scenario, the Wolves have been rumored to be shopping Derrick Williams, a player that many teams would probably not mind taking a gamble on. Besides, all of the abovementioned teams have, according to rumors, been shopping their own picks.
