Nate Robinson is a name quietly on the NBA free agency market after having a very successful stint with the Chicago Bulls. Apparently the Bulls are too deep at the position to bring Robinson back, so he’s free to sign with whatever team wants him.

Now, Robinson has been linked to a variety of teams including the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers, but it appears the Denver Nuggets may have a leg up on the competition when it comes to signing Nate.

Marc Spears of ESPN has the report on Twitter:

It is always a good sign when you hear a potential player and the coach are having good talks. Denver was not necessarily a team many thought had a chance at landing Robinson thanks to all the contenders interested, but it appears a deal could get done.

We still have a ways to go before Robinson makes a decision, but right now it looks like the Nuggets could steal him from the rest of the NBA.
