Today just hasn’t been a good day for the Indianapolis Colts, it started out with owner Jim Irsay apologizing for the team’s poor preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, where he said they had a ‘crap performance’ on Twitter. Just a few hours later, and there are reports that they have broke some rules with newly acquired running back, Ahmad Bradshaw.

Apparently the team gave Bradshaw a few hand offs during a morning practice in early August. Due to these reports, the Colts can no longer keep the running back on the PUP list, as he is not “physically unable to perform.” It was said on ESPN.com that the team tried to cover the act up by saying, “Bradshaw was taking ‘mental reps’ when asked about his status that day.” Ahmad Bradshaw had foot surgery earlier this year, but now must be placed on the team’s active roster, due to these allegations.

Indianapolis had a off day today, as they just had their preseason game yesterday. They will resume with team practices tomorrow when they return to Anderson University.

I think it is too soon to tell exactly how Bradshaw’s foot is doing, but I’m sure as more news break, details on his recovery will become more apparent to the public.
