Well folks – the time has come. In just under an hour, the NFL season (sans Opening Night) will kick off and the next five months are going to be football heaven.

Thankfully, with over a week to recover since the preseason concluded, injuries are at a relative minimum so many star players will be on the field.

Make sure you check your fantasy football lineup so you don’t get stuck with an inactive player on your roster – nothing more aggravating than that.

Below are the inactive players for the Atlanta Falcons – New Orleans Saints game, which is scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Atlanta Falcons:

DB Asante Samuel

RB Josh Vaughan

S Kemal Ishmael

OT Jeremy Trueblood

G Harland Gunn

DT Travian Robertson

DE Stansly Maponga

New Orleans Saints:

WR Andy Tanner

WR Robert Meachem

RB Khiry Robinson

DB Isa Abdul-Quddus

OT Terron Armstead

LB Martez Wilson

DE Glenn Foster

For the Saints, only Robert Meachem would be a notable fantasy player missing in action, though, it was unlikely he’d have had a big role after coming over from the Chargers recently. For the Falcons, it’s not so much who’s missing as who isn’t as Roddy White will start for the Falcons.
