Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones was upgraded to limited participation in practice on Thursday, according to Jay Adams of AtlantaFalcons.com. Jpnes has been fighting a knee injury

That is big news because, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jones didn’t practice the day before.

Head coach Mike Smith isn’t interested in discussing the injuries or giving more details.

“Again, I’m not going to talk about injuries,” Smith said, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I’m not going to editorialize about each specific guy. I’ll let you guys do the editorializing on the injuries. We will give an injury report. It comes out at 4 o’clock and it will be in your in box.”

The injury and his absence from practice yesterday has some fantasy owners worrying if he’d play in Sunday’s game. Jones has been known to play through little nagging injuries and could’ve simply been given an extra day of rest. His upgrade to limited today is a step in the right direction, as far as his health is concerned, but is far from him being declared available for Sunday’s game.

Keep an eye on his health before you start him.
