The Miami Dolphins spent a lot of money to bring free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace to South Beach. Wallace had been battling a groin injury that had his status for this game in doubt, but Wallace will in fact play against a banged up Falcons defense.

After a rough start to the season, in the opener Wallace caught one pass for 15 yards, he was targeted 5 times however. He initially expressed displeasure following the game but backed off his comments later in the week.

In the second week against the Indianapolis Colts Wallace caught 9 of the 11 passes headed his way for 115 yards and scored a touchdown.

For the Dolphins this is their season home opener. They face off against the Atlanta Falcons, who have struggled against the pass this season. ESPN ranks them the 30th defense against the pass giving up 346.5 yards per game through the air. Ryan Tannehill and his wide receiver duo of Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace could have a big game.
