Maimi Dolphins pulled out a very impressive win today. I wouldn’t say that they outplayed the Atlanta Falcons but they found a way to have a better score after 60 minutes of football.

Ryan Tannehill was particularly impressive in leading the game winning drive down the field late in the fourth quarter. The drive culminated in a touchdown pass to rookie tight end Dion Sims on second and goal.

Dion feinted as if he was going to block on the goal line and released. By the time that Falcons linebacker Stephen Nicholas realized what was happening it was too late. All he could do was to try to grab on to anything that he could of Sims which happened to be his right arm. It turns out Sims didn’t need both arms to catch the pass anyway.

The catch by Sims gave the Dolphins a 27-23 lead that would be enough for them win the game. Sims, a rookie from Michigan State, made sure that his first career touchdown pass was one that he will remember forever. The Dolphins are 3-0 and in a tie with the New England Patriots atop the AFC East.
