Dwayne Bowe blocks two defenders at same time (GIF)

The Kansas City Chiefs are trying to keep their undefeated record alive today against the Houston Texans. Everyone is on board too. Look at this block wide receiver Dwayne Bowe throws in the GIF below. He has  blocks one defender into another, taking out two players to free Dexter McCluster.

It looks like it was more lucky than skill. The Texans defender almost gets free inside from the block and is trying to be shifty to prevent Bowe from squaring him up. When McCluster goes out side he tries to get outside and thats when Bowe gets the best of him and sends him into a teammate.

Luck is a combination of preparation and skill.

It’s one aspect of his game that is ignored to a certain extent. He is a great downfield blocker.

It is a cool play but nearly everything you say is wrong. He’s supposed to hook the edge on that block and thats exactly what he does. Also, if you actually look at it he deliberately throws a second block into Reed after he secures the edge… He’s a phenomenal blocker down the field. Good job though, you’re just like every other sports journalist that thinks the Chiefs have somehow gotten “lucky” enough to start 7-0.

literally you can sit there and watch the play 100 times on a gif and that’s how you chose to analyze it? use your brain dumbass.
