Good news, Jets fans? Geno Smith used his wheels and motored in for a running touchdown, giving the Jets a lead.

Bad news, Jets fans? I guess he won’t be bringing home any touchdown celebration awards this season.

As the Jets were trailing the New England Patriots 21-17 in the third quarter, Smith drove the team down the field where he promptly ran the ball into the end zone, giving the Jets a lead.

Hyped up, Smith attempted to get up from the tackle and spike the ball, but there was one problem in doing such. He forgot the ball.

As Smith cocked his arm and began the downward motion to spike the ball, the pigskin went flying out of his hand and flew a good eight or ten yards while Smith continued on with his ‘air spike’.

Let’s see you try that, Mark Sanchez.

The touchdown gave the Jets an unexpected 24-21 lead over the Patriots, though, the Russian judge was less than impressed with Smith’s post touchdown celebration.
