They say that it is better to be lucky than good at times and that is exactly what happened for the San Diego Chargers on Sunday afternoon. After Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III attempted a pass out of his own endzone, the ball ricocheted off of a Redskins players helmet and bounced around the line of scrimmage.
When the ball finally came to the turf, it was in the hands of a Chargers defender for the touchdown.
It is not exactly the kind of start that the Redskins would have liked to have as they look to gain ground in the NFC East, but the ball doesn’t always bounce your way.

Week 9 is just getting going, so prepare yourself for plenty more exciting plays from around the league.
