The St. Louis Rams are off to a hot start against the Chicago Bears. They scored on their first drive of the game, and on the third play of the drive. Wide receiver Tavon Austin took the ball on a run play 65-yards for the touchdown.

On the next drive the defense made a play. On the Bears first play of the game, they dialed up a run play to running back Matt Forte. He ran to the right and Trumaine Johnson hit him and forced the fumble. Linebacker James Laurinitis recovered the ball at the Bears 7-yard line, excellent field position for the Rams.

It took the Rams four plays to get into the end zone, and the help of a defensive pass interference penalty to score. The penalty gave them a first down on the one-yard line and Zac Stacy took it in for the score to give the Rams a 14-0 lead in less than three minutes.
