Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson, who will turn 33 years old on February 20th, is still going strong.

The seven year veteran is having a far better season than he had last year. Although he hasn’t picked up nearly as many rushing yards today than C.J. Spiller, he’s still helped out his team by tying up the score at 24 all in the third quarter.

The scoring play came a few minutes after Atlanta Falcons starting quarterback Matt Ryan fumbled which was recovered by the Buffalo Bills. This season has definitely been a disappointment for this team who was once the most dangerous team in the NFC. Right now Atlanta is sitting pretty with a possibly top five draft pick in next years draft. I’m sure the players, staff and the fans would rather have a trip to the Super Bowl.

Now on this scoring play, E.J. Manuel dumped it off to Jackson on a delayed screen. Jackson got a block from his left guard which allowed him to get by the linebacker. He reached the second level and juked corner-back Desmond Trufant which also allowed him to get by three other defenders before putting the finishing touches on the play.
