Earlier in the weekend, the Denver Nuggets seemed to be going both ways in regards to the trade rumors surrounding veteran guard Andre Miller. On the one hand, the team sparked trade rumors by suspending him for an on-court altercation with head coach Brian Shaw but later in the week declared that they weren’t going to shop him until closer to the trade deadline in February.

Now comes a report from The Denver Post that the Nuggets are indeed actively shopping Andre Miller and could reach a deal with a team well before February 20th.

This shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise as it was clear that Denver wanted some time to try and work things out with Miller, but with word that they’re now shopping him again, and actively doing so, it appears that the sides are still at odds and have resorted to finding a mutually beneficial way to end things.

Miller could still end up with the Nuggets up until the deadline and possibly even further than that, but teams like the Timberwolves, Knicks, Nets, Warriors and Kings now know that Miller can indeed be had and could help move a deal along much sooner than the deadline.
