Nuggets at Warriors final score: Denver wins 123-116

Ty Lawson scored 22 points, dished out 11 assists and had three steals while J.J. Hickson had 13 points and pulled down 24 rebounds, helping the Denver Nuggets to a 123-116 victory over the Golden State Warriors at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California Wednesday night.

With 1:13 to go, the Warriors took a 116-115 lead on two David Lee free throws. Hickson answered with consecutive buckets and Lawson hit four free throws as the Nuggets scored the game’s final eight points.

Nate Robinson came off the bench to score 24 points on nine-of-12 shooting, grab four rebounds and dish out three assists in just 23 minutes.

Wilson Chandler added 22 points and six rebounds while Randy Foye scored 21 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists.

Lee led the Warriors with 28 points and 11 rebounds.

Stephen Curry poured in 24 points, seven assists and five rebounds, Klay Thompson had 21 points, Andrew Bogut had 10 points and 10 boards and Harrison Barnes scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds.

The Nuggets shot 54.2% (45-of-83) from the floor and 50.0% (12-of-24) from three while the Warriors shot just 43.3% (39-of-90) from the field and 32.1% (9-of-28) from beyond the arc.

The Nuggets are now 20-18 and the Warriors are 25-15.
