NFL Free Agency Rumors: Atlanta Falcons to meet with Devin Hester

The Atlanta Falcons will be visiting with free agent kicker return specialist Devin Hester on Tuesday in an attempt to feel him out for a potential contract offer. The former Bears returner has apparently ben drawing interest from over a dozen teams but before today we only heard of the Miami Dolphins reaching out.

Now that the Falcons have been added to the mix, the dominos may begin to fall in terms of teams interested in signing him.

Atlanta could use some speed in their return game and Hester has demonstrated he’s the best to have ever specialized in that area. He may have lost some of his burst over the years, but he’s still a dangerous enough threat that teams kick around him and that’s a testament to how well respected and feared he still is, even at his age.

Hester clearly thinks he has more left in the tank, and Atlanta seems interested in finding out just how much is actually left.
