Lately, the rumors of Chris Johnson ending up with the Atlanta Falcons have been running rampant. But hold on just a second because Mike Florio over at Pro Football Talk is reporting that the team has absolutely no interest in bringing in the former All-Pro back to help with their offense.

"Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Falcons have no interest in the current (for now) Titans tailback."

Now of course, the source does say “in the current” meaning that they could change their minds at some point in the future, but for right now, it’s not a direction they plan to go in, which might be the smart move.

Johnson has not been released yet by the Tennessee Titans, but they’re expected to make that move before they start offseason training activities, meaning Johnson will have to find a new place to re-vitalize his career.

For the time being, though, that place doesn’t seem as if it will be in Atlanta as they try and put their offense back together following the struggles of 2013.
