While Chris Johnson spent all of Tuesday in New York visiting with the Jets and getting to know the city he could deb playing in for the 2014 season, there are other teams who could possibly steal him away from the Jets. While there seems to be no rush from anyone to get to a contract worked out, the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are three other teams with reported interest in Johnson.

Per ESPNNewYork.com:

"Johnson spoke to a small group of reporters at the game, revealing little about the visit (“everything went well”) or about his immediate plans. He indicated he’s planning to visit other teams, but he didn’t name them. The Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are said to have interest, but they’re obviously not making a mad rush to him."

All four teams, including the Jets, were involved in trade talks for Johnson before he was cut but those talks never really got far. Now with Johnson being a free agent, the interest in his talents has risen only slightly as the same group of teams remain exclusively interested.

It’s not a lock that he’ll sign with the Jets, but the inclusion of three other teams could drive the price up and drag out contract talks into the summer.
