The Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons continue their predraft dance about whether or not to engage in a trade for the No. 1 overall pick, and while much of the discussion has centered around the Falcons taking Jadeveon Clowney in the potential move, CBSSports’ Jason La Canfora writes that Auburn left tackle Greg Robinson could be the pick.

The Falcons have to protect quarterback Matt Ryan and Robinson has been compared to Hall of Fame lineman Larry Allen and may possess the most upside of any player in the draft. Clowney has previously mentioned he hopes the Falcons trade up and draft him, but according to La Canfora, Clowney may only get half of his wish.

Texans’ general manager Rick Smith says he knows who he is taking with the first pick who are in an absolute win-win position. The Falcons are the most likely team to pony up the assets to move up, but if not the Falcons will cross their fingers Khalil Mack or either Jake Matthews or Taylor Lewan slips to them at No. 6.
