Projected NFL Draft number one overall pick Jadeveon Clowney has been tied to many rumors sending him to the Atlanta Falcons, but now Atlanta rapper Ludacris wants to give his stamp of approval to the deal.

If you’re an NFL prospect, what higher praise could their be than to have the full endorsement of a city’s top rap star?

In a poll conducted by SBNation of Atlanta rap personalities, Ludacris (along with a two others) are all for the Falcons moving up in the draft to nab Clowney and solidify their pass rush.

Also chiming in were Big Boi (one half of the Atlanta-based rap duo, Outkast), who simply stated, “I think we are trading up for Clowney”, and Pastor Troy who exclaimed “He’s my pick all the way!”

It would seem as though the Atlanta hip-hop community is fully behind Clowney, with ‘Cris leading the charge.

No word from the Atlanta front office as to whether or not Luda and the others have been given access to the Falcons’ war room or not.
